Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America she is the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, a physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. As a teenager she became an expert pianist and took home a national contest at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only 13 years old.
