Yael Stone

Stone was raised and born at Sydney, Australia. She was a student at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began her acting career as a child, with roles in the films Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. Stone was primarily involved in stage productions. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she took home the prizes for the Best Newcomer as well as Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Kid. In addition to her work in theatre, she has been on TV in roles of support, like All Saints and Spirited. From 2010 to 2011she was a part of The Diary of a Madman in that she was once again nominated for Best Supporting Actress at The Sydney Theatre Awards. In February of 2011, she travelled from Sydney to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman in the spring of 2011, before returning to her leading roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
